Be a Responsible Dog Owner
Dogs bring fun and love into a family, yet need care and responsible oversight when including them in your home and lifestyle. Understanding dietary needs, frequency of daily outdoor exercise, play time, periodic grooming and other aspects of happy, healthy dog care are important factors in dog ownership.
Know the local laws for vaccinations, dog park visits and pathways you’ll use where you live. License your dog and use permanent identification such as microchips to help you and your dog be reunited if lost.
Practice good manners and dog owner etiquette. Be respectful of your neighbors, their yards and their dogs. Use leashes where required and always be mindful to clean up after them.
Basic training for you and your dog makes for happy owners, secure and happy dogs that are more likely to enjoy obedient behavior
